| | Why Choose Variable Speed?
This furnace has a
variable speed blower motor.
It is kind of like a dimmer
switch on a light. It senses how much air is required and
then adjusts to that need. How much do you depend on your
furnace filter to clean your home? How often does it run? I
would answer that with NEVER in the Fall and during Spring.
Even during the Summer and Winter a typical System may come
on only 6-8 hours a day and during extreme weather 12-16
hours. With Variable Speed we will run the fan 24/7/365. The
fan knows that in the resting time the fan runs at about 30%
and continually cleans the air thus eliminating smells,
animal dander, smoke, allergens and also by circulating the
air will can greatly reduce any hot or cold spots in your
home.

Choose 2-Stage?
Besides variable speed,
2-stage is the most fascinating. All heating and cooling
systems are sized for the hottest day or the coldest day of
the year. Really this means that your system is improperly
sized 90% of the year. On mild days, a 2-stage unit
automatically comes on the low heat setting or low cooling
setting, and then the unit picks a fan speed to match. This
not only saves money in utility costs but also gives much
better comfort in your home. Before most Thermostats were
set at a 4 degree differential. With the knowledge of
